How do I book a tour?
It is advisable to Book online in advance as tour space is limited!

You can use your mobile device to make an online reservation up to 10 minutes before departure time.

Are your tours family friendly and pet-friendly?
Yes, absolutely. All of our tours are family friendly and fun for all ages. Just be sure you are prepared to walk or stand for approximately 90 minutes. We are stroller and leashed-pet friendly for most tours. We move along at a comfortable pace.

Can I pay with a debit/credit card at tour departure site?
Yes absolutely! You may use your mobile device to pay for any tour at anytime, up to 10 minutes before departure time. All tours have limited capacity. Customers previously reserved online will have priority over any walkup guests. It is wise to book early!

The tour guide will also have a mobile device available to assist you with online reservations. You must have a debit/credit card available for use. We do not accept checks or cash at tour site to secure a reservation.

How long are the walking tours?
All tours are at least 90 minutes (some may last as long as 2 hours) and cover a distance of approximately 1 to 1.5 miles, depending on the tour.

We move along at a comfortable pace and there are opportunities to rest and take pictures, so don’t forget your camera!

Where should I park?
All tour departure locations have access to local parking garages and street parking. Allow a minimum of 15 minutes for parking. Tour departs on time and reservations will not be refunded for late arrivals.

What if I have to cancel or need a refund?

General Cancellation & Refund Policy
Barring a massive weather catastrophe that would make walking outdoors legally irresponsible due to safety, our tours proceed in all weather, rain or shine. In the event of the aforementioned unsafe weather, tours are rescheduled for another mutually convenient date at no additional charge.

All reservation payments must be made online at least 10 minutes prior to tour departure:

    • Cancelling reservations 2 weeks or more prior to tour date:
      If you cancel the tour more than two weeks in advance of tour date, a full refund will be granted.
    • Cancelling reservations 2 weeks to 7 days in advance of tour date:
      If you cancel from two weeks to 7 days in advance of tour date, a 50% refund will be granted or credit towards future tour good for 60 days from original tour date.
    • Cancelling reservations 1 week to 48 hours prior to tour date:
      If you cancel with less than 7 days to 48 hours before tour date, you can get full credit toward a future tour good for 60 days from original tour date.
    • Cancelling reservations 48 hours before the tour date:
      If you cancel 48 hours or less in advance of tour time, no refunds or credits will be issued.

What if I have a voucher?

Voucher Policy
Vouchers are good until the day of expiration. All sales are final. No refunds will be given.

What about inclement weather?

Weather Policy
Our policy is "History happened in all kinds of weather, too!" Unless there is "severe weather" such as uncharacteristic thunderstorms, extreme flooding etc, our tours go ahead rain or shine, cold or heat. This is Los Angeles, we have sunblock by day and jackets by night. Bring yours too! Dress appropriately for weather. The beaches can be cooler than other parts of the city, bring a jacket. Wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water to hydrate in the sun.

Since weather reports are not 100% reliable, we show up willing to go in all kinds of conditions. If for some rare reason we have to cancel, 100 % refunds are given or you may reschedule. If customers cancel, please read cancelation and refund policy above. If we do cancel, we will try to let you know at least two hours before via e-mail or phone.

Do I tip the tour guide?
